Chelsea star Eden Hazard has hinted he could become the Club's next captain.


The Belgian captain has been a subject of speculations this summer after report gotten to us that he could be on the verge of leaving Stamford Bridge to join Real Madrid while the World Cup was still on. 

Real Madrid were ambitious to sign the Chelsea playmaker after their star Cristiano Ronaldo joined Juventus ahead of the new season. 

Although, there is still time for the Spanish club to make a move with the European transfer window to close on the 31st of August.

Chelsea fans are positive Hazard will stay after all his confusing twitter activity which many confirms that he will stay at the club beyond this summer.

Eden Hazard took to Twitter on Monday to remove his "header" picture of himself in his Belgian kit, replacing it with a new photo of him with Chelsea captain's armband. 

The Blues fans were so fast to see the change in Hazard's profile and were so excited.

One of Chelsea's supporter tweeted: "Eden Hazard gives the biggest hint he might be signing new contract soon and will be the new official #CFC captain. On his Twitter header."

Another one said: "Eden Hazard has changed his profile picture on Twitter to him in a Chelsea FC shirt, and his banner to a photo of him wearing the captain’s armband at Chelsea. Hmm 🤔 ..."

One wrote: "Captain Edennnnn! It's Happening - master-class against Arsenal."

And one excited Chelsea fan said: "Nobody knows how happy I am right now."

Hazard looks determined to stay with the Blues beyond this summer after the arrival of new boss Maurizio Sarri.

The Italian manager also looks set to keep hold of Willian, who had been linked with Barcelona and Manchester United, rejecting among others a £65m bid from FC Barcelona.

Being asked about the captaincy situation importance to Chelsea's trip to Huddersfield, Sarri said: 'Tomorrow I think it's Cesar Azpilicueta, but it's not the final decision.

'I want to know my players very well, I want to know more about the man and then when my idea will be clear, I will make a final decision.'
