Jurgen Klopp Believes his club can do more this Season

Jurgen Klopp believes Liverpool can do more this season and have the power to challenge for the English Premier League title after spending more money than any of his rivals in the summer transfer market.

Liverpool spent a reported fee of £176million bringing in Naby Keita, Xherdan Shaqiri, Brazilian Goalkeeper Alisson and midfielder Fabinho. Klopp hopes to get Liverpool’s first English Title in the Premier League era, with the last of their 18 champions crown coming in 1990.

In Jurgen Klopp pre-match press conference on Friday, ahead of Liverpool’s first league game against West Ham on Sunday, Klopp said Liverpool have spent too much in building the squad with its depth necessary to be a genuine title contender. “It was normal, there would be a season when we would spend more Money,” Klopp said. “We have to build a squad which is strong enough and wide enough to stand firm with the Premier League.”

Klopp, who was appointed Liverpool's Manager in 2015 after winning two Bundesliga titles with Borussia Dortmund, says he expects more from his players to fight to the last breath for the league title.
“We have to be in the championship mode,” he said. “Let’s go for it until we have no more air or oxygen, really go for it.”

“The English Premier League Champions are Manchester City, they did not sell any of their players and brought Riyad Mahrez to join the team, that does not make them weak, we watched the Chelsea game and saw how impressive they were,” he said.
“We are the ones who have to play better and fight more, that must be our attitude.
“We have not won anything yet, we have been in finals and if we get there again we should be able to win it. “The league is the same.”

Klopp is yet to win a trophy with Liverpool despite reaching the finals of the League Cup in 2016 and Europa League and last season’s Champions League, believes Liverpool need some great fortune. “We need more luck,” he said.
“Somebody said to me that we were so unlucky."
“We have to be more consistent to be there and more tactical and aggressive in the right time.”
Klopp said Liverpool need to improve at both ends of the pitch if they are to make a strong title challenge and not end up like others season. Last season was bad, finishing fourth with 25 points behind Manchester City.

We can improve our offensive and defensive play but it has nothing to do with Manchester City, he said.
“It is difficult to get points from every game; if we see how Leicester City, Fulham or Everton play, they are all ambitious.
“It is also difficult for us and the other teams too, He ended
